Former NFL cornerback and three-time Super Bowl champion, Tim McKyer, found himself in legal trouble after being arrested earlier this week in Florida.
The arrest followed an incident where McKyer allegedly struck five parked vehicles in a Riviera Beach parking garage before leaving the scene.
According to TMZ, details obtained from police documents revealed that all five vehicles sustained visible damage, with some rendered “inoperable” as a result of the collision.
Law enforcement officers who responded to the scene reportedly detected the smell of alcohol emanating from McKyer’s breath.

The 60-year-old McKyer now faces a litany of charges including five counts of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage exceeding $50, in addition to a traffic misdemeanor for fleeing the scene, and a traffic citation for failing to report the incident.
The former NFL player began his professional career after being drafted in the third round out of Texas-Arlington by the San Francisco 49ers.
During his tenure with the 49ers from 1986 to 1989, McKyer won two Super Bowls. He would go on to win a third with the Denver Broncos later in his career.Β

McKyer’s well-traveled NFL career saw him also make stops with the Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Carolina Panthers.Β
Throughout his career, McKyer made a significant impact on the field. He appeared in 170 games, hauled in 33 interceptions and made 470 total tackles.Β
