Former NFL wide receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson has made a bold claim on his ultra-popular “Nightcap” podcast.
Alongside his co-host, Shannon Sharpe, Johnson was discussing the current quarterback landscape in the NFL and what upcoming moves might be made.
That’s when things got interesting as Johnson indicated that he has some inside information on where quarterback Russell Wilson is going to land.
“A little birdie told me Russell Wilson’s coming over to the Steelers,” Johnson confidently said.

Wilson, who spent the past two seasons with the Broncos following a high-profile trade from the Seattle Seahawks in 2022, struggled mightily to meet expectations in Denver.
The 35-year-old quarterback was benched late in the season, and it’s become obvious that he’s not in head coach Sean Payton’s future plans – at all.

With reports of Wilson and his wife Ciara listing their Denver-area home for sale, it’s widely expected that the Broncos will part ways with the veteran signal-caller before the commencement of the new league year next month.

Meanwhile, in Pittsburgh, uncertainty looms over the quarterback position.
While Kenny Pickett is currently slated as the Steelers starter, head coach Mike Tomlin has pledged to introduce competition for the role.
The recent departure of veteran backup Mitchell Trubisky further underscores the team’s need for quarterback depth.
I don’t hate this for the Steelers. Obviously not a permanent solution, but not a terrible move

A report from Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has also hinted at internal discord within the Steelers organization regarding the starting quarterback.
Dulac’s report suggests a potential division over whether Mason Rudolph, who is set to become a free agent next month, should assume the starting role after a strong finish to the 2023 season.

Of course, Steelers fans are hoping for much better than Rudolph at quarterback.
Meanwhile, Pickett still has a decent amount of supporters who believe he can potentially develop into a franchise quarterback … At the same time, there is a loud portion of the fan base who are absolutely done with him.
Needless to say, quarterback will be the biggest storyline in Pittsburgh this offseason.
Would love for this to be true. People are sleeping on Russ. He can still play.

What are your thoughts on Wilson possibly joining the Steelers?
Do you think he has anything left in the tank?
Would Tomlin and the coaching staff be able to save him? … (Although, you could make the case if Payton couldn’t save him, no one can.)
If you’re a Steelers fan, would you rather stick with Pickett – or go after someone like Wilson, or perhaps Justin Fields???
