Bill Belichick, the former head coach of the New England Patriots, found himself on the sidelines during the recent NFL coaching shake-up, leaving many surprised. However, former NFL running back LeSean McCoy isn’t shocked, attributing Belichick’s lack of success to a “Tom Brady problem” since the quarterback’s departure.
During Belichick’s 18 seasons with Tom Brady, the Patriots reached the playoffs an impressive 17 times. In contrast, during the 11 seasons without Brady, they made the playoffs just twice. McCoy emphasized, “It’s who you really are.”

Belichick had multiple interviews with the Atlanta Falcons and seemed to be the leading candidate for the job before the team ultimately chose Raheem Morris. The Washington Commanders also showed interest in Belichick and engaged in discussions with him before selecting Dan Quinn as their head coach.

While Belichick may not be a head coach at the start of the next season, he could potentially receive another opportunity if a team decides to part ways with its coach during the year.
