Amazingly, it seems like the legendary Bill Belichick may be shut out of a coaching job this offseason.
Once considered the heavy favorite to land the Atlanta Falcons head coaching job, owner Arthur Blank decided to go in a different direction and hired Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris instead.
There are conflicting reports surrounding Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
A few insiders have speculated that Reid may very well retire after the Super Bowl – and that Belichick could potentially take over as Chiefs head coach.
(How crazy would that be?!?)

Of course, the million-dollar question is why in the world would Reid want to retire while in the middle of a budding-dynasty???
Perhaps the grind is getting to him. Perhaps there’s some health concerns (hopefully not).
The strong likelihood is that the wild rumor is just that – a wild rumor.
Assuming Belichick does go “unclaimed” this offseason, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk look a glimpse at who might be interested in hiring him next year…
“Teams to watch (for 2025) include the Bills, Browns, Jaguars, Giants, Eagles, Vikings, and Buccaneers … I left off the Cowboys because, if it was ever going to happen, this was the year to do it … I added the Giants because itβs been long believed he would love to go back to the place where he won a pair of Super Bowls as defensive coordinator, and because the team took a nosedive in 2023 after a playoff berth in 2022 … The Browns are there because owner Jimmy Haslam has a demonstrated capacity to do desperate, impulsive things,” Florio stated.

Interestingly, Lions offensive coordinator was thought to be a lock for the Washinton Commanders head coaching job. However, Johnson let it be known that he is removing his name from consideration and will remain in Detroit.

That news led many to wonder if Washington would make a run at Belichick…
Why don't the #Commanders WAKE UP and hire Bill Belichick? We have some dopes on the internet that think #BenJohnson is a better Head Coach candidate than "THE GOAT"π.

Despite previously stating that they weren’t interest in Belichick, could Washington change their minds?

Whether it’s now or next year, the one thing that is clear is that Belichick still wants to coach…
Where do you think he will end up???
