REPORT: Bears Are Likely To Hire THIS Offensive “Genius” … Will His Pairing With Caleb Williams Help Dominate The NFC North??

It looks like former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury may soon be back in the NFL.

Kingsbury was a senior offensive analyst and quarterbacks coach at USC this past season.

Many people wondered what the future held for him and whether his preference was coaching at the college level or the pros.

Well, it turns out that NFL itch may win out – and according to reports, he is expected to receive extremely strong consideration for the Chicago Bears offensive coordinator job.

The news comes as the Bears are actively seeking a replacement for their former offensive coordinator, Luke Getsy, who was let go on January 10th.

Kingsbury, who was fired by the Cardinals after four seasons spanning 2019 to 2022, made a return to the college ranks in 2023 – and it was clear watching him on the sidelines that his passion for the game is as strong as ever.

The 44-year-old’s tenure in Arizona saw an overall record of 28-38-1. He made the playoffs once and immediately lost in the wild card round.

Of course, what makes a potential Bears-Kingsbury pairing so fascinating is Kliff’s close ties with USC quarterback Caleb Williams.

Chicago has the #1 overall pick in April’s draft and are widely-expected to draft Williams.

Keeping the Kingsbury-Williams partnership alive would seemingly be a great thing.

Bears general manager Ryan Poles recently spoke about the team’s approach to the draft and said they are in “information-gathering mode” and are keeping their options open.

“We have a really unique draft situation that is going to allow us to continue to get better,” he said.

First of all, do you think the Bears should definitely draft Williams? … Or are you a little worried about the personality issues some people think he has?

Would Drake Maye be the better choice?

Assuming the plan is to draft Williams – like it probably is – should they indeed bring Kingsbury aboard?

Would that pairing help the Bears become a legitimate threat in the NFC North???
