The Detroit Lions are arguably the best story in the entire NFL.
You all know their story. Up until recently, they had been nothing more than a punching bag for most of us.
Sure, they had a few glimpses of hope here and there with Barry Sanders and then Matthew Stafford … But for the most part, they have been a borderline-cursed franchise.
Well, the times have certainly changed thanks to one man in particular – Dan “MCDC” Campbell.
The job Campbell has done in Detroit, completely turning around their entire culture, is nothing short of remarkable.
It goes without saying, the entire city and state are losing their minds over this year’s team, especially after their dramatic win over their old friend Stafford and his Rams last week.

The reason is because no one ACTUALLY plans on selling their tickets, but they throw them up at insane levels because if someone does bite then so be it. Beers cheaper at home.

The Bucs have strong momentum going following their dominating win over the Philadelphia Eagles last Monday.
Tampa Bay will surely be taking an “us against the world” and “nobody believes in us” approach … An approach which certainly makes them dangerous.

However, the Lions are playing at such a high level right now and are clicking on all cylinders.
There’s a tight-knit “college atmosphere” around Campbell’s squad right now.
You really get the sense that they have one of the strongest bonds and brotherhoods in the entire league.
Also his dad was an iron worker who helped build the stadium, from what I've heard. Full circle moment for that guy and I'm glad he was able to be there.
