WATCH: Kyle Shanahan Takes Shot At Cowboys, Admits He Knew All Along Packers Were Going To Beat Dallas … Can ANYONE Beat The Niners??

Nearly every person in the country thought the Dallas Cowboys were going to beat the Green Bay Packers in their Wild Card playoff game last Sunday.

He’d never admit it, but San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan was probably under that assumption as well.

Time is of the ultimate essence for NFL coaches, especially for coaches as thorough and obsessive as Shanahan – and CERTAINLY during playoff time.

Wanting to get a jump on his preparation, Shanahan admitted that Green Bay came out so dominant in the game that he wasted no time starting his preparation for the Packers.

Speaking to the media, Shanahan revealed that his began his preparation for the Packers “about halfway through the second quarter” of their game against Dallas…

the 48-32 final score might be the most deceiving of all-time … Anyone who watched that game knows that was closer to a 67-7 final score than 48-32.

The end result is the Packers punching their ticket for yet another playoff showdown against the big bad Niners.

There’s been plenty of recent playoff memories between the two historic franchises. San Francisco has won four consecutive postseason matchups dating back to the 2012 Divisional Round.

Jordan Love and the Pack are feeling pretty good about themselves following their shocking win over the heavily-favored Cowboys.

They will have the luxury of being big underdogs once again as they head out west.

Currently a 9.5 point dog, there’s no doubt head coach Matt LaFleur will make sure his team uses the good old-fashioned “us against the world” and “nobody believes in us” approach.

Do you give Green Bay a realistic chance to beat the Niners?

Will the bye week cause San Fran to come out a little rusty?

If that’s the case, they better be careful because you know the red-hot Packers will be playing loose and will let if fly knowing that they have nothing to lose. (Another classic cliché!)

Caught in the crosshairs of Shanahan’s admission is the poor Cowboys.

You can certainly make the argument that last Sunday was the most disappointing loss in Dallas history.

On a side note, are you surprised Jerry Jones has decided to stick with Mike McCarthy as head coach???
