Florida State linebacker DJ Lundy, who had initially entered the transfer portal in December, has had a change of heart and decided to return to the Seminoles for his final collegiate year in 2024.
Lundy had explored options, including the Colorado Buffaloes, and even committed to play for Deion Sanders at one point. However, he announced his return on social media, expressing his readiness to continue contributing to the Seminoles’ defense.

Lundy played a crucial role in the team’s success last season, recording 54 tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks, and an interception as Florida State secured the ACC title. His decision to stay adds a key defender back to Sanders’ roster for the upcoming season.
