Ohio State fans can hardly contain their excitement for 2023 four-star quarterback commit Lincoln Kienholz.
There’s never been a doubt how talented of a quarterback Kienholz is – but adding to Buckeye excitement is the tremendous athleticism he routinely displays on the basketball court.
Playing for Riggs High School in Pierre, South Dakota, Kienholz has been turning heads with his dunking ability…
Dunk of the year candidate? @DigitalZSD love the reaction from teammates and young fans as much as the dunk itself @LincolnKienholz pic.twitter.com/6zsWtQLBIo

Kienholz’s athletisism is no secret to Ohio State quarterback coach Corey Dennis…
“The guy’s a competitor,” Dennis told The Columbus Dispatch. “He does everything. He’s extremely athletic, he competes. There was a two-minute drive that he doesn’t play defense, but they were like, ‘Hey we know they are going to throw it right here.’ They put him back at safety and I think he had an interception in the state championship game. I just think his competitiveness and then his production on the field along with him being an athlete and what he can do.”
According to MaxPreps, Kienholz threw for 7,654 yards, 87 touchdowns, while adding 2,605 rushing yards and 22 rushing touchdowns.
Kienholz also spoke to The Columbus Dispatch, saying: “It’s Ohio State… They have a great track record with their quarterbacks with the past four or five getting drafted and everything. I think they know what they are doing there. It’s a pretty good process to trust.”
It sure is Lincoln…

For @LincolnKienholz, that doesn't stop when he takes the basketball court. Here's what he can do. @DispatchAlerts https://t.co/AyH3Lv3XyD

Kienholz had originally committed to Washington before flipping to Ohio State, which surely created bad blood between the two programs.
I’m sure the cancelation of their upcoming home & home series is no coincidence…
Would imagine the relations between programs got a bit frosty when Lincoln Kienholz flipped from UW to OSU? https://t.co/JWnupnzKUc
